What do I do in quarantine?

The first couple of weeks of change felt good. I did spring cleaning, re-organised my drawers and folders, and prepared for a then not yet announced "stay at home" time.

What did I do in the first month of quarantine?

Detox.

I started with a 7-day liquid cleanse during which my daily intake was:

  • 2.5 L of purified water

  • 1 x BIG glass of celery + apple + cucumber juice

  • 1 x BIG glass of orange + grapefruit + ginger juice

After the juices I continued with bentonite clay detox. I took the healing clay internally twice a day for 2 weeks. It tasted horrible! 🤢 I newly found out that clay is a powerful antibacterial agent. Being highly charged with negative ions, it will naturally bond with substances that have a high positive charge, such as viruses and bacteria. In the case of viruses such as E-Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, MRSA, and others, clay molecules literally surround the viruses, suffocating them and preventing them from reproducing or getting fuel. Thus, the viruses die off and are carried out of the body through the body's detoxification pathways.

On April 4th/5th a celestial stargate opened with massive astrological configuration of Jupiter Pluto conjunction. I was not sure what it meant exactly but I heard of a collective meditation "...to create a portal through which we will unify our consciousness and trigger the process that will solidify the optimal Ascension timeline for the planet and help the humanity unite to overcome the current global health crisis." According to the ascension timeline the planetary shift happened at 04:45 in Hungary. Now 4:45 am might be morning to some, but to me it is the middle of the night and I knew it would have been painful to wake up at that time let alone stay awake to meditate. However my friend in Spain said that a group of Spanish people organised a collective meditation at 10pm which sounded better time wise. The Universe had a different plan with me, though. From around 7pm I started to develop a throbbing headache which grew stronger by 9pm when I decided to go to bed because I felt weak and useless. I was astonished because I rarely have headaches and I thought I could just sleep the pain out but to my biggest surprise the headache was active throughout the night and woke me up many times. When I was ready to get up the next day I could still feel the pain though it was diminished and it finally disappeared at around 9am (yes I checked the time 😀). I had no fever or any other symptom apart from a nearly 2-week-long sore muscles in my body after that. I found out later in a google search that ascension symptoms can include headache, sleep pattern interruptions and achy-ness, pain, discomfort in the body among other things.

Colouring.

My new obsession is the sugar skull colouring book. I created a daily morning routine when I coloured a page with music on during the time I did oil pulling and prepared a herb tea. Thus the day began calm and inspiring. The weather was warming up and I was happy to explore the crowd-less, quiet environment when I headed out for a walk. I bet this was introverts best time! It was certainly mine. I enjoyed being almost alone outside with not even cars passing by. The public playgrounds were closed and so some of the shops but many of them remained open in my parents' town. People slowly adapted to the new norm. They stayed sensible with wearing masks/ gloves and kept distance from each other.

Reading books.

I have some books that I purchased years ago that I still haven't read and some books from which I am excited to re-read certain bits. I also found a photocopy version of 'No Logo' by Naomi Klein that I used for a graphic assignment at the uni in 2006. I only have the first 86 pages photocopied that I have never read but for some reasons I kept it, and now that I re-organised my folders cluttered with all sorts of torn out magazine pages, song lyrics, notes and drawings of design ideas I found it and had great pleasure in reading it. I wish I had the rest of the book! It is a truly inspiring and engaging study.

Learning Spanish.

Yes, I am finally doing it! I have started to learn Spanish online. 💃🏻

Me pones un cafĂŠ, por favor?

Necesito un coche.

Lo quiero ahora.

Que quieres?

No soy asĂ.

etc.

Movies.

I discovered a great youtube channel: Korean Englishman. I am hooked. I've caught up with many of their episodes from the past which made me smile a lot.

I have a laptop and a portable wifi with limited data downloads so I don't watch as many movies and series as I want to. I've heard of great Netflix programmes and I am a tad sad that I am missing out on them.

Baking with mum.

We tried new, healthier recipes for cakes. It was my passion mainly. Mum eventually turned back to her known way of baking. She, however, mastered an amazing pizza and carrot cake recipes. My absolute favourite was the raw chocolate brownie for which the basic ingredients are cacao butter, coconut oil and dates. This one didn't require baking just mixing up ingredients and cooling in the fridge. It doesn't look super tempting on the photos but the taste was heavenly!

I tend to escape to our back garden to do physical exercises twice a week (running, jumping, skipping, stretching) and to lie on the sun on warmer days. Total peace and relaxation. I am already tanned a little. I hear the birds singing that nest in our neighbours mammoth pine tree (yes, there is a giant pine tree in the middle of the city that happen to be our neighbour's). The old lady did not expect it would grow that BIG, and now all of us in the neighbourhood are scared if the wind twists it and makes it sway low enough to break our windows or damage our homes in some ways. It has only been dancing so far. It makes a good team with the surrounding smaller thuyas. 😂

Vitamins.

Here's the list of health products I am taking during this time firstly because of the Epstein-Barr virus caused complication in my body and secondly because I want to fuel some vitamins and minerals into my system that got more likely washed out during the detox. I ideally take them until they last but depending on my health condition I may stay on longer on certain substances. I detail the benefits of each supplements.

OREGANO OIL

Thanks to its carvacrol component oregano oil has been found to kill bacterias and viruses. It's mainly used for intestinal parasites, allergies, sinus pain, arthritis, cold and flu, earaches, and fatigue. Research has also shown that oregano oil may be effective against types of bacteria that can become resistant to antibiotics. www.healthline.com

  • Natural Antibiotic

  • May Help Lower Cholesterol

  • Powerful Antioxidant

  • Could Help Treat Yeast Infections

  • May Improve Gut Health

  • May Have Anti-Inflammatory Properties

  • Could Help Relieve Pain

  • May Have Cancer-Fighting Properties

How to take oregano oil?

There is no documented standard effective dose of oregano oil, but here is a guide for how to use it:

  • On the skin: For skin conditions or infections, dilute with olive oil at a concentration of 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of olive oil per drop of oregano oil, then apply to the affected area.

  • Swallowed: If you're taking the oregano oil orally, you can put a few drops of it into a cup (237 ml) of water, gargle and then swallow.

I am speaking from my personal experience when I say that oregano oil has an extremely strong smell and taste that make it utterly unpleasant to apply it. I put 3 drops in 2 dl of water to gargle and swallow and it burns my mouth. It tastes horrible! My sore throat, however, was gone after 1 day. I bet it is very effective against flu and other cold symptoms. Keep one in the cupboard!

ECHINACEA

Echinacea plants contain a complex mix of active substances. Some of these compounds may have antimicrobial and antiviral properties, while others may support the immune system in other ways.

I am also taking:

LIPOSOMAL MULTIVITAMIN

PROBIOTICS

HOMEOPATHY

📚🤓 In the meantime my TEFL certificate arrived which means that I can officially start to teach English in foreign countries. Researching for and writing the last assignment between 2 jobs felt unbelievably nerve wracking. I thought I would never get to the end of it. And BUMM coronavirus came, I got suddenly freed up from work responsibilities and I could submit my assignment in time with extra materials. *TEFL = Teaching English as a Foreign Language

Right now I am hunting for online teaching opportunities to generate some income from home. Then, when the boarders open, I would like to travel and teach somewhere where I haven't been before. A sunny and happy country. People say Thailand is the "Land of Smiles". I would be happy to teach kids in Thailand or in some other countries where people are more heart-centred than ego. A spiritual land with rich culture and traditions and stunning landscape. Indonesia? Vietnam? Thailand? All of them triggers my interest. Just as much as going back to the Canaries, mmm! That sounds like a real treat too! I will do some research before I manifest the opportunities in my reality. 🏖

☆

That's all for now. I hope all of you embrace the changes in your life with grace, love and gratitude!

Thank you for reading!

Until next time ♡
